Daniela Mattheus


Daniela Mattheus is a Partner at EY, based in Berlin and EY’s Leader for Corporate Governance Board Services & Regulation, hosting a global Corporate Governance network of EY experts. She is leading the EY Center for Board Matter within GSA and EMEIA, an information and networking platform for supervisory and executive board (http://www.ey.com/gl/en/issues/governance-and-reporting/center-for-board-matters).

Daniela Mattheus joined EY Berlin in 2012. Previously, she worked for more than 10 years in the consulting branch of another Big4 accounting firm, where she established and took responsibility for its Audit Committee Institute (ACI), and was associated with the law firm. Daniela is a qualified lawyer and was research assistant at the “Institute of German and European Corporate Law“ at the University of Heidelberg.

She has more than 15 years of project experience working with boards (e.g. board evaluations, education) in listed and non-listed, private, public and non-profit organizations from all industry sectors, including banking and insurance.
